MASTER PLAN 2005
A master plan is a phased approach to developing and growing church facilities as the needs of the congregation grow. As the costs of constructing new facilities these days are expensive, many churches have looked to a phased approach to ultimately achieve their facility needs. This allows a church to spend their resources wisely and begin a next phase when the size of the congregation has grown and their needs have increased. What is Emmanuel's master plan? This plan has been developed with a strong belief that our facilities are an integral part of our ministries here at Emmanuel. Improved facilities will help us to more effectively worship, teach, counsel, meet in fellowship and reach out to the community. There are four phases to this master plan, each one focusing on a slightly different aspect of our church life. The plan attempts to address both immediate needs and future needs. The first phase primarily focuses on addressing some of Emmanuel's most immediate needs, while the next three focus primarily on expanding facilities to accommodate new growth. Each phase is outlined with two plans -- one shows the entire lot, the parking stalls, the buildings, the outdoor chapel, etc. This shows the development of the property through each phase. The second plan shows a more detailed look at just the building floor plan, describing the room layout during each phase. Please keep in mind that as these plans are preliminary, details may change as we move forward the continue to refine the floor plans. Future needs of the church will also drive the details of the later phases.
